Manchester City drew 2-2 with Liverpool at Anfield to bring it two wins in a row against strong Premier League championship rivals.

 

City beat Chelsea 1-0 last weekend to close the gap on Liverpool to one point, but Thomas Tuchel's team replied with a victory on Saturday to reclaim first place, three points ahead of City. City missed out on the chance to go top on Sunday afternoon when Manchester United, Everton, and Brighton all drew.
