According to L'Equipe, Juventus target Paul Pogba wants to extend his contract with Manchester United and could become one of the Premier League's best earners with a €20 million annual wage.
The Frenchman has returned to Turin, where France will face Belgium in the Nations League semifinals tonight.
Earlier this month, his representative, Mino Raiola, hinted that a return to Juventus was conceivable, but that it would be contingent on the Bianconeri's future intentions.
Raiola revealed that Pogba is in love with Turin, which has many Juventus supporters fantasizing about the Frenchman's homecoming.
Pogba's contract with Manchester United expires in the summer, but he is now prepared to prolong his stay at Old Trafford, according to L'Equipe.
According to the report, negotiations between the Premier League heavyweights and the player's agent are underway with the 28-year-old, who may be handed a new €20 million-per-year contract.
That would make him one of the highest-paid players in the Premier League.
Pogba joined Juventus as a free agent from Manchester United in 2012 and returned to Old Trafford four years later in a €100 million deal.
In 178 appearances for the Old Lady, he scored 34 goals.
